Welcome to MayFest 2008.

Our theme this year is "Bringing Joy to the Web". All of the MayFest Village community shares a special bond with each other. We are bound by a cord named "community", which is composed of three threads: LOVE, COMMITMENT, and COMMUNION. This web of community has been created and sustained by all of us for more than a decade of MayFest Village gatherings. I am deeply grateful to all of you for this. Your contribution to the community fulfils a greater vision for us all.

Let us all collectively celebrate that achievement. This year, the spirits have given us one simple directive: bring joy to your spiritual work and community service. Year 2008 is a numerological "10", which itself adds to a "1". This energetic pattern offers us the opportunity to bless the past and build upon it for a consecrated and prosperous future. I invite you all to bring your expressions of joy to MayFest this year. When are you most at joy in your communion with the Gods and Goddesses? How do you inspire that joy in others? Do you have the courage to be joyous? Bring your heart. Bring your joy. Bring your magic to a celebration of our many blessings. Let MayFest 2008 be a celebration of spirit, community, tradition, and shared blessings!
